Multi Level Car Park
Working with Brent council to clean the Multi Level Car Park at the Brent civic centre. On this project we used a range of different cleaning methods and worked during the night to minimise disruption for the daily car park users. The methods we used included;
- Treating oil stains and tyre marks with degreaser
- Steam cleaning
- Pressure washing, brushing, squeegeeing and using an electric scrubber dryer.
Although the multi level car park was three different levels, there was only one drain on the bottom level and the car park was not designed for water to flow down to this drain. This required us to use our cleaning team to help direct the volume of water down to the ground drainage using squeegees to move the excess water.
The last step in the process once the majority of the dirt had been manually scrubbed and jet washed away was to send in the ride on scrubber dryer. This machine scrubs the surface while applying a carefully mixed cleaning solution and in the same movement across the area squeegees the excess water and hoovers it back on board so that the dirty water can be carried away and disposed of in the nominated drain.
